Rick and his wife have called Interlachen home since April 2023. They, along with their long-haired miniature dashund and cat, moved to Interlachen from East Texas. Rick worked and owned his worked construction business for over twenty-five years, worked for the State of Texas as an Alternative Fuel Inspector, and over 28 years pastoring and ministry before coming to Interlachen to launch a church.
Rick has held various positions, including President of Shield of Faith Ministerial Alliance, overseeing over 50 churches and 100 ministers across 12 states, Pastors of various churches, President and trustee of local Softball leagues, and various other boards. Rick and Elizabeth, his wife of 30 years, have four children and three sons-in-law, and are also blessed with 3 grandchildren.
Rick is a 2011 graduate of Rhema Bible College with a Pastoral Administration degree and has business credited hours.
Rick and Elizabeth are members and board members of the Interlachen and Lake areas Rotary. They are also a part of the Interlachen American Legion and Auxiliary Post 293. He served on the town planning commission before accepting the office of Mayor.
