The Parks and Recreation Department regulates and maintains the use of public parks within the Interlachen town limits.

The Town of Interlachen governs the town parks by town ordinance. 


Park Hours:

  1. Dowda Park:
    • Picnic area and tennis courts: Official Sunrise – 9PM
    • Ball Field: Official Sunrise – Official Sunset
  2. Hastings Park: Official Sunrise – Official Sunset
  3. Lake LaGonda Park:
    • Park and Beach: Official Sunrise – Official Sunset
    • Fishing: Official Sunrise – Official Sunset
  4. Grassy Lakes Park: Official Sunrise – Official Sunset
  5. Jenkins Park:
    • Foot Traffic: Allowed all hours.
    • Loitering is prohibited from Official Sunsett – Official Sunrise in these areas:
      • Caboose
      • Stage Area
      • Picnic Areas
